Second Workshop on Challenges in Microbiome Data Analysis
Sponsored by Simons Center for Data Analysis and the Center for Microbiome Informatics and Therapeutics
February 16-17, 2017 | The Broad Institute
This meeting will gather together a small group of innovative developers of computational and statistical methods, not only to discuss the current leading edge of microbiome data analysis, but also to synthesize ideas for new directions to be explored.
Approximately 20 speakers will present their methods for primary data analysis, inference of microbiome-derived network models, compositional data analysis and data integration. Ample time will be allocated for informal, interactive group discussions, allowing participants to trade and develop ideas and methods in a relaxed atmosphere.
To support meaningful discussions, speakers have been carefully selected based on their contributions to this field. We are encouraging these speakers to give deeply focused, method-rich talks, dissecting the mathematical and computational methods that they have developed for meta-genomics data analysis.
