The list of top translational researchers in biotechnology for 2018, in Nature Biotechnology, a journal about the best research from across the field, includes two faculty members of the MIT Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES). Daniel Anderson, an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and a core faculty member at IMES, and Robert Langer, an affiliate faculty member at IMES and the David H. Koch Institute Professor, MIT, were listed in the top 20:
