There are several spaces in IMES that are available for reservation by members of the IMES, HST, and MIT communities.

HST classes always take first priority. IMES and HST events take second priority. Please read our reservation policies and rules of use. To reserve the following IMES spaces, authorized users can visit our conference room reservation system.

E25 – 119/121

Interior of room 119
  • Users: all MIT (including HST)
  • Capacity: Seating available for 36–60 participants
  • Furniture: 12 small rectangular tables arranged in rows to seat 36 and 50+ total chairs
  • AV Resources: Projector, HDMI, VGA, two projection screens (one at each end of room; portable projector required for screen in 121)
  • Please contact imes-reservation [at] mit.edu (imes-reservation[at]mit[dot]edu) for key card access.

E25 – 140

  • Users: all MIT (including HST)
  • Capacity: 33 participants
  • Furniture: Conference tables that can be arranged, 17 chairs
  • AV Resources: Zoom capable, HDMI, VGA
  • Please contact imes-reservation [at] mit.edu (imes-reservation[at]mit[dot]edu) for a room reservation. This is a card reader access only conference room. Department policy limits access to the scheduler, or meeting/lead organizer. A secondary backup attendee may also be given swipe access if necessary. Card access will not be provided to every meeting attendee.

E25 – 141

  • Users: all MIT (including HST)
  • Capacity: 33 participants

  • Availability: Monday thru Friday from 6 am to 5 pm for the IMES and HST community. After 5 pm and all day on weekends, this space is available only to HST students and on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Capacity: Seating available for 16 participants, comfortably
  • Furniture: 6 rectangular tables arranged as one large conference table and chairs
  • AV Resources: TV screen, HDMI, VGA, telephone

E25 – 310: Innovation Space

  • Users: all IMES, all HST
  • Capacity: Seating available for 42 – 60 people comfortably
  • Furniture: 7 rectangular tables and 42 chairs
  • AV Resources: Two drop screens, connector ports in ground and wall, touch panel, overflow to kitchen

Atrium
